We will be interested in papers that focus on the field of geriatric surgery (on the decision whether to operate on elderly patients, what operation to perform, and which approach to take). Any manuscript utilizing a clinical trial methodology to evaluate comparative effectiveness in the surgical care of the aging population will be appreciated. A formal call for papers will be placed in late 2012. Accepted manuscripts will be given priority publication.
